We  are..

Big enough to deliver, but small enough to care.

Renting from us

If you are interested in renting one of our properties you must register with Gloucestershire Homeseekers.

We do not maintain an external waiting list. However we do give priority to our current residents who are requesting transfers within our housing stock.

Resident Involvement

We encourage our residents to contact us to take part in Resident Involvement. This might include volunteering to assist with community events, estate improvements, consultations and focus groups.

We are also always interested to hear from anyone, especially our residents, who would like to become a volunteer Board Member .

Rooms for Hire

At our offices in Phoenix Way we have rooms available for hire on a nominal fee. Enquiries are welcome.

Local Community

We would also love to hear from any local organisations who would like to work in partnership with us, either in the management of properties, development of homes, or the provision of services, including education or volunteering for our residents.

About us

Cirencester Housing is a small social housing provider providing homes in Cirencester Town and the local rural community. We provide homes for local people to enable them to live in sustainable communities where they have family or work connections. All our new properties are governed by section 106 planning agreements to ensure that these conditions are maintained.

We have 157 homes consisting of one, two and three bedroom houses, one and two bedroom flats, and one and two bedroom bungalow3s. All are general needs housing provided at social or affordable rent.

Our ethos is to provide homes that people want to live in and remain in. Our relationship with our residents underpins everything that we do. We work with residents to assist them to maintain their tenancies and to ensure that their local community is maintained to a high standard.

We support local community projects including the Churn Project and Cirencester CAB. We take a pride in our homes and our estates, and empower our residents to engage in local estate and community projects to have a positive impact in their communities.

Our equality and diversity policy ensures that we promote equality of opportunity in every aspect of our business.

We are a not-for-profit organisation and are regulated by the Homes and Communities Agency, a government body.

Cirencester Housing  is a partner in New Futures, a major investment and development partnership led by the Aster Group.
